About Me

I graduated from the design centre at Enmore with an Advance Diploma in Graphic Design and immediately landed a multimedia role within a freelancing capacity, forging a career as a the sole designer for a national company.

This was a steep learning curve. This role was completely varied and saw me mature in all areas of design. I created their branding guidelines. I designed and set up a video and photography suite, in this suite I shoot well over 1000 clips, that were eventually edited to a more reasonable 400 that was then placed online in a learning environment.

My biggest achievement was in the post production stage, adding graphics and animations to the video footage.

Whilst doing all that, it came time to plan my own wedding, I document the process with my online community and I was instantly inundated with request from brides to create their wedding stationery. A light bulb moment went off and I was on my honeymoon and thought, hmmmm I should throw caution to the wind and give it a go.

I designed my own collection of envelopes and other items, that are still an ongoing process and set up my own etsy shop, it even saw me travel to Japan to source paper.

I have had a steady stream of clients, but now I am looking at getting into the studio world. I am craving some direction and would like to keep abreast of the fast paced world that is graphic design.

Although, I am certain I will miss the freedom that freelancing gave me (but will still be taking clients as they come) I enjoyed travelling with my free time and always trying to get to as many far flung places, no matter the miles on a plane I must endure.

I am obsessed with interiors and I am currently renovating my house as I find it a stress reliever, much to the contrary of the general population.
